Who is responsible for your data

Logicon is responsible, as controller, for the personal data sent through the www.logicon.ro website. We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the GDPR, and with Romanian Law No. 190/2018. For any question about your data, write to start@logicon.ro. Full company identification details are provided on request, at the same address.

What data we receive from you

The website has the order form and the conversation with the assistant. We receive only what you fill in or write:

• your first and last name;
• your e-mail address;
• your phone number, if you provide it;
• your business name and website address, if you provide them;
• your industry and the product you chose, in the order form;
• your first name, phone number and, if you give it to us, your e-mail address, together with the content of the conversation, when you leave them with the assistant so we can call you with your quote;
• the consent checkbox and the time you sent the form.

Like any website, the server records the internet address (IP address) a message comes from. We use it to stop messages sent automatically by bots. The address is stored in encoded form, in a temporary file, for one hour at most.

The AI assistant on the website

The website may display an AI assistant that answers in writing, from the information published about our services, prices and business hours. Messages written in the chat window are sent to the AI platform that provides the language model; it processes them to compose the answer, under its own terms and privacy policy. When you request a quote, the assistant asks for your first name and phone number; this data and the content of the conversation reach us by e-mail, solely so we can prepare the quote, and are kept like any other correspondence, for the period stated below. We delete them on request, by e-mail to start@logicon.ro. The assistant works without asking you for sensitive information: medical data, financial data, national identification numbers, passwords. Please keep such information out of the conversation. For any topic that requires it, write to us by e-mail.

What we use the data for

We use it to reply to you, to prepare your quote or order, to issue the invoice and to complete the work. The data stays within this correspondence.

The legal basis for using it

• your consent, given by ticking the box in the form — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR;
• steps taken at your request before entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR;
• our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and stopping automatically sent messages — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

How long we keep it

Correspondence arising from a request is kept for 24 months from the last message, then deleted. If a request leads to a contract, the related data is kept for the duration of the contract and for as long as tax and accounting laws require. The encoded internet address is deleted automatically after one hour.

Who else sees the data

The data is seen by the people at Logicon who prepare the reply. Within the limits of their contracts with us, it is also seen by the company that hosts our website, our e-mail provider and the provider of the language model used by the assistant on the website. We send data to authorities only at their request, as provided by law.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to request restriction of its use, to object to its use and to receive it in a file. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and the withdrawal takes effect from that moment on. Requests are sent to start@logicon.ro and are answered within 30 days at most.

You may file a complaint with ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal, Romania's National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing), B-dul G-ral. How we keep the data secure

The website runs only over a secure connection: its address starts with https. The forms validate data on the server, include a trap field for bots that send automatic messages and have an hourly request limit. Only the people who prepare the reply have access to the correspondence.

Automated decisions

Your data is read by people. Its use remains ordinary, with no profiling and no automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
